Week 3 AAF Rankings

QB

  1. Garrett Gilbert, ORL. Top scoring fantasy player will have his hands full against a stingy Iron defense but should keep producing.
  2. John Wolford, ARZ. Wolford gets a get right game as the Commanders give up the second most fantasy points per game to opposing QB's.
  3. Aaron Murray, ATL. Put up 50 yards on the ground last week that could help give him a solid floor for fantasy. Memphis also gives up the most points to opposing QB's.
  4. Zach Mettenberger, MEM. Mettenberger has put up fantasy outings of 14.8 and 19 points in his AAF action. Fire him up against Atlanta this weekend.
  5. Josh Woodrum, SLC. Disappointed last week in the snow against Orlando but Woodrum is a dual threat to reach the end zone with his arm or legs.

RB

  1. Trent Richardson, BHM. The focal point of the Iron offense has averaged almost 17 carries and 6 targets per game. While the yardage isn't great, averaging 1.75 TD's a game is.
  2. Zac Stacy, MEM. Stacy hasn't been able to get much going lately, but going against the softest run defense in the league in Atlanta might be just what he needs.
  3. Kenneth Farrow II, SA. Farrow had 30 carries last week and helped San Antonio give Birmingham it's first loss. He'll play Arizona who is giving up 25 points per game to RB's so far.
  4. Jhurell Pressley, ARZ. Pressley looked great last week getting 14 carries and five targets. He turned those into 18.3 fantasy points and gets a tasty matchup with a Commanders defense averaging 24.1 points per game to opposing RB's.
  5. Branden Oliver, SLC. Oliver had 17 carries and two targets last week before exited the game early. If he's good to go this week, play him as a nice value. Otherwise look for his backfield mate Joel Bouagnon.

WR

  1. Charles Johnson, ORL. Johnson has been money, averaging almost 19 fantasy points per game. Lock him into your lineups.
  2. Rashad Ross, ARZ. Ross has scored a TD in every game so far and is averaging 20 points per game.
  3. Mekale McKay, SA. This game should hopefully have lots of points as each WR corps is talented. McKay is a red zone target monster but Greg Ward Jr. is a cheaper option as well.
  4. Malachi Jones, ATL. Jones has been trending up since his Week 1 donut on the scoresheet. Let's see if more Aaron Murray at QB can help.
  5. Rannell Hall, ORL. Hall gets top billing due to his better performance of late, but Jalin Marshall is another good option for exposure to the high-powered Apollo offense.

TE

  1. Gavin Escobar, SD. The top option at TE sees Mike Bercovici return to QB1 status in San Diego and had his best fantasy output in Week 1 with Bercovici under center.
  2. Gerald Christian, ARZ. Christian cooled off after a hot start to the season. He's still playing in the Hotshots offense so the potential for points is high.
  3. Keith Towbridge, ATL. Aaron Murray seems to have given Atlanta a spark on offense and Memphis gives up the most points per game to TE's.
  4. Wes Saxon Jr., BHM. Took advantage of other injuries to Birmingham TE and seems to have seized the starting role.
  5. Marcus Baugh, SD. Baugh just had a TD and exploded for 15 points last week. That's good enough to get ranked in this barren TE wasteland.
